题目:Catalytic Enantioselective Redox-Neutral Processes for Efficient Chemical Synthesis

报告摘要:The development of economical and selective catalytic methods is of significant importance for the promotion of sustainable chemical synthesis. My group at National University of Singapore has focused on the identification of catalytic enantioselective redox-neutral transformations that directly convert feedstock materials to valuable chiral entities with wide application in organic synthesis. In particular, we have achieved a series of direct stereoconvergent “substitution” of readily available racemic alcohols via borrowing hydrogen catalysis for economical access to chiral amines, N-heterocycles, alcohols and ketones. Recent progress made along these lines will be discussed in details in this presentation.
